Erin is originally from Florence, New Jersey and has been on the Dr. Mel Team since 2007. After beginning her medical career in the OB/GYN field, Erin decided to make a change. When she first began her journey into the holistic healthcare world, Erin was not fully aware of the benefits of chiropractic care. She quickly discovered that it was her passion, and furthered her education by becoming a Certified Chiropractic Physician’s Assistant through Cleveland College of Chiropractic. When she isn’t working, Erin spends her time with family and three fun-loving dogs!

A born and raised Floridian, Lauren (“Lo”) hails from Tampa, FL. After working as a paramedic, Lo decided to shift her direction into alternative healthcare. Having been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease at the age of 13, Lo has always been interested in ways to improve health naturally. She fully enjoys witnessing people investing in themselves and their health! A self-proclaimed “beach bum (really a mermaid)”, Lo loves the island life. She also enjoys painting and being creative, and she fondly states that she loves working in an office with so much positivity!
Ines Castro, LMT
Ines is a native of Santiago de Cuba and has been a massage therapist since 2005. Ines specializes in energy work, neuromuscular and relaxation massage, and is able to perform cupping techniques. She is passionate about making people feel better and relieving chronic pain. In her free time, Ines loves to spend time with her son and husband and loves to garden (especially orchids!). Fun fact: before becoming a massage therapist, Ines was a dolphin trainer in Cuba!
Melissa Cofresi, LMT
Melissa was born and raised in Bronx, New York and became a massage therapist in 2014. She graduated from New York College of Health Professions with training in Swedish, deep tissue, and reflexology massage as well as Asian bodyworks. Prior to becoming a massage therapist, Melissa was a home health aide for children with disabilities, specializing in working with adolescents with Autism. Melissa has always had a passion for helping others, and her serene compassion for others is expressed through her work in massage. When she’s not at work, Melissa can be found spending time with her children and enjoying the outdoors under the Florida sun!
Danay Garcia, LMT
Originally from Havana, Cuba, Danay has been in the United States for 15 years and Cape Coral for three. She is a graduate of the Praxis Institute and specializes in deep tissue, manual lymphatic drainage, neuromuscular, geriatric, and rehabilitation massage. Danay also enjoys performing sports and orthopedic massage, as well as craniosacral therapy. In her free time, Danay enjoys cooking for her family and coworkers and bicycling with her 10 year old son.
Dayami Guevara, LMT
A native of Cuba, Dayami is a graduate of the Praxis Institute in Miami, as well as the Nouvelle Institute in Hialeah. She has been licensed in both massage therapy and skincare for 12 years and thoroughly enjoys her professions! Dayami’s advanced certifications include: advanced therapeutic massage, sports massage, deep tissue, neuromuscular, manual lymphatic drainage and Swedish massage. Dayami has always worked in medical offices; this has allowed her to grow and learn in a clinical setting, as well as having the opportunity to relieve patient’s ailments and ensure they feel their very best!
Dani Ibarra, LMT
Born in Cuba, Dani moved to beautiful Southwest Florida 11 years ago with her family. As a graduate of Lee Professional Institute, Dani is certified in various modalities, including: Swedish, prenatal, deep tissue and lymphatic massage, hot stone and aromatherapy. Dani loves living in Florida as she thoroughly enjoys the beaches and nature! Additionally, she enjoys psychology and is currently studying General Psychology at Keiser University. Dani is a cat lover and has a cat named Melo who brightens her days!
Mileidy Prado, LMT
Originally hailing from Cuba, Mileidy is a 2017 graduate of Praxis Institute. She specializes in Neuromuscular Therapy, sports massage, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, and Spa Therapies. Mileidy takes great pride in providing safe and effective treatments that are specially tailored to fit her patients’ needs. Outside of the office, Mileidy is a self-proclaimed animal lover (especially dogs) and loves to be outdoors with her family enjoying the Florida sunshine!
Stephanie Riggs, LMT
Stephanie has been an LMT for over nine years. Stephanie loves to make people feel better and help to get rid of their pain. She specializes in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular therapy, and cupping. Stephanie practices Swedish massage as well for patients who prefer lighter pressure.
